Deadline Extended to July 31st for the Pacific Dataviz Challenge

June 19, 2024 10:14 PM

Due to the recent and ongoing events in New Caledonia, we have decided to extend the submission deadline for the Pacific Dataviz Challenge from June 30th to July 31st. This extension is aimed at giving all participants, especially those in New Caledonia, more time to prepare and submit their data visualisations.

Our organising team, based in Nouméa, remains motivated and committed to ensuring the success of this challenge despite the current circumstances. We firmly believe in the power of data visualisation to reveal insights, inspire, and connect people through impactful visual solutions.

We invite you to watch our YouTube video where Houy-Sy and Léo explain the situation in detail and the reasons behind this extension. In this video, we also share our message of hope and extend an invitation to everyone across the Pacific and beyond to participate in this adventure. Dataviz, with its ability to transform complex data into powerful and meaningful visual works, can play a crucial role in solving crises and inspiring many.

We thank all our participants for their understanding and continued support. We look forward to seeing your incredible submissions and celebrating the talent and creativity of our region together.

Watch the video now and join us in this exciting adventure!

Thank you for your engagement and good luck to all!
